Name: Chris Harris Stage Name: Moe D City: Meridian State: Mississippi Country: USA Website: http://www.moedsworld.com/ Twitter: @therealmoed Bio: Christopher Harris, age 24 better known by his stage name Moe D, is an American Rapper/Producer/ Songwriter from Meridian, Mississippi. Moe D grew up on the Westside of Meridian in the 500 Block of 53rd Ave. At age 13, Moe D played drums for a local blues band called, “The Click”.While the band would set up Moe would perform his self produced raps as an opening act, Thus launching his career as an MC/Producer. After numerous failed attempts as a collegiate student athlete, Moe D seriously got back into his music in 2008. Coming up in high school, Moe D was apart of the rap group “Go Hard Squad” and bounced around from a few independent labels form his hometown of Meridian. At 15, Moe D opened for major acts such as David Banner, Pastor Troy, Lil Flip, and many more. Moe D has worked with the likes of Bohagon, Playboy Tre, Trae of ABN, Paul Wall, 50/50 Twin, Klondike Kat, and ESG of the legendary S.U.C.(Screwed Up Click) all before the age of 21. Inspired by Jay-Z, 3-6 Mafia, Lil Wayne, Yo Gotti, UGK, Eightball & MJG, Jim Crow, Kid Rock and many more: Moe D presents his own southern drawl. The aggressively natured MC is yet versatile in every aspect of the game. He has soul, charisma, word play, and “high octane hooks” to go along with it. His style isn’t like any other artist in the game. Moe D stated this on a recent blog, “I just spit facts, ride the track, and let it take me where ever it may. I have no boundaries.” Wit a full tank of gas left the Artist/Producer/Songwriter from Meridian, MS looks to put the final stamp on his career by taking his own independent label (Go Hard Muzik Group) to new heights in 2012.
